When I was 16, I thought my parents knew nothing.

When I was 21, I was shocked to discover how much they had learned in 5 short years.

A - Avoiding criticism will cause you to say nothing, to do nothing and be nothing.

B – Before you talk … listen.

Before you re-act … think.

Before you criticize … wait.

Before you pray … forgive.

Before you quit … try.

C – Consistently and Carefully Convert your negative thoughts of
hopelessness into actions of hope.

D – Do what you can, not what you can’t.

E – Everything matters, but nothing matters that much.

F – Focus on something or someone other than yourself.

G – Do all the Good you can

By all the means you can

In all the ways you can

In all the places you can

At all the times you can

To all the people you can

As long as you can.

H – Time Heals most things, so give time … some time.

I – Instincts matter – Your brain can play tricks on you.

Your heart can be blind.

But your gut is almost always right.

J – Just remember to be kind to those on your way up because
you’ll see them on your way down.

K – 3 Kinds of people:

Make things happen,

Watch things happen,

& those who wonder what happened –

Make things happen.

L – Light a candle in a dark world instead of cursing the
darkness.

M – Make every day count by making your mission lifting others
up, not tearing them down.

N – Never forget that sometimes success is often the result of taking a misstep in the right direction.

O – Overcome evil by doing good Great.

P – Make Peace with your Past so you don’t spoil your future.

Q – Quit Quitting – never, ever, ever give up.

R – Remember to acknowledge and thank the ones who helped you get where you are and where you’re going.

S – Smile – you don’t own all the problems in the world.

T – The Two most important days in your life will be the day you were born and the day you discover why.

U – Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own Understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your steps.

V – Victory usually does not go to the smartest or brightest -
Victory belongs to those who outwork others.

W – When you listen, you learn. So shut up and listen.

X – X-ray and examine your heart daily …… and remove bitterness, jealousy and unforgiveness.

Y – You’re never as good as your best admirer, and you’re never as bad as your worst critic.

Z – Zillions and Zillions of people are counting on your to do good – live a life of significance and make our world better.
